Celebration Anaheim était une autre belle et grande occasion pour les constructeurs de droïdes de se rencontrer et partager avec les fans leur passion.
Dans la salle des R2 Builders située au second niveau du centre de conventions, nous pouvions voir de superbes réalisations. Malgré toutes ces belles unités astromécanos, nous avons été particulièrement enthousiasmés par une lampe Star Wars Leg, avec laquelle nous serions bien tous repartis si nous avions pu !
Après cette visite, nous passions à une salle adjacente qui retraçait l’histoire du petit droïde à travers la saga, du concept de Ralph McQuarrie en passant par le droïde Chopper dans la série animée Star Wars Rebels, jusqu’au prochain film Star Wars The Force Awakens. Bref, un petit parcours fort intéressant !
Star Wars Celebration Anaheim was another great opportunity for the Makers (of droids) to meet and to share about their common passion, and also with the fans.
In the R2 Builders hall, on the second floor of the convention center, superb realisations were to be seen. Despite this wonderful astromech units, we all fell in love with one that we would have wished to bring back with us, the Star Wars Leg lamp!
Next to that hall, it was possible to visit another one dedicated to this small droid and his history in the saga, from the concept arts of Ralph McQuarrie to Star Wars Rebels‘s Chopper up to the next movie The Force Awakens. In short, a very interesting small trip to the astromech world!
