Star Wars R2D2 actor rushed to hospital
Star Wars veteran Kenny Baker, who played the lovable dustbin-shaped robot R2-D2 in all six of the classic science-fiction films, has been rushed to hospital.

The 73-year-old actor from Preston, Lancashire, was taken seriously ill on a return flight to England after holidaying in the United States.
As the plane landed, Baker was driven to a nearby hospital in Manchester, where he is currently being treated. According to family reports the 3ft 8in star is now wide awake and expected to return home in the next few days, with one relative adding "Kenny's conscious and talking, hopefully he'll be absolutely fine."
