I'm sorry if my post here may seem irrelevant.

I'm from Singapore and have just moved to Paris because of of my job. I'll be here for a period of 2 years.

I'm a Star Wars fan and am a big collector of toys, especially vintage.

I've stumbled onto this French site by chance and would be delighted if some of you "pffffffuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !" touch base with me and tell me more about the star wars community in France.

Unfortunately, i do not speak French at this point in time and "pffffffuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !" hardly understand what's written here in this forum!

All i know is i love star wars and i hope my interest in Star Wars will allow me to make friends in France sharing a mutual love for StarWars.

I'll be more than happy to buy/trade/sell Star Wars with my fellow French collectors here. Being from Singapore, i am able to get many Star Wars toys at a price much cheaper than here. I'm shocked to find the prices of toys are so expensive here! The Singapore dollar is 50% that of the Euro so it will be in your favor to buy toys from Singapore!!

For example, we have the Gentle Giant exclusive C3PO from Art of Star Wars exhibition in Singapore and that is about 45 Euros. I see it being sold here for 80Euros!

Likewise, i purchased the Gentle Giant Stormtrooper Bust in Singapore for Sing$120, which is about 60 Euros, where it is sold here for 100 Euros.

I guess i really "pffffffuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !" make a fast buck if i set up shop here

In any case, I'll be going back to Singapore come end January and will be returning to Paris in early Feb with a shitload of toys (vintage, POTF2, OTC, Freeze Frame etc) and hopefully, i will be able to start my trade/sell/buy actively here.

I look forward to making friends on this forum and do drop me an e-mail if you need anything from Singapore!

I agree it would be most interesting for us to purchase items from Singapore, anf this for two reasons, the currency first, ans then the fact that most of the licenced toys merchandise is made or traded in your place!!!

Thank you for the warm response. I'm sure in no time, i'll be making friends on this forum.
