Star Wars Days 2008

I hope that it is ok to post this here? If it is not sorry for doing so.
We are in the planning stages of organising a Star Wars fan event in the UK during 2008.
Our aim is to bring together the largest number of Star Wars related guests in one place, this would include
from both in front of and behind the screen!
We will be holding a fan film competition, art and model competitions, talks on stage....
Yes there will be a lot of faces that you may have met before but we are also talking to many other guests
also, please remember that this about bringing Star Wars fandom together in many more ways than just
autographs which we know is a large element so bare with us.
We are currently mailing out to clubs, associations and fan groups as well as looking into reaching the wider
general public.
The event will be called Star Wars Days, currently a website is in development and should launch over the
next few weeks.
We are looking for people to get involved in different areas such as web design help, forum moderators,
promotion, animation, stage production, video editing and filming plus many other areas.
As soon as we have finalised the dates and venue which should be shortly we will post the information.
