We heard from the CEO of LEGO, Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, and were able to ask him questions. I asked him if there are plans to renew the licensing of Star Wars LEGO after it runs out in 2007, and this was his answer: "We'll extend that, we'll find ways of doing that. We believe that LEGO Star Wars has become an identity in itself. A lot of us are huge Star Wars fans as well. Whenever we're together with the Lucasfilm people we feel that this is the license that they feel the strongest about. George Lucas and his family were visiting LEGOland in Billund last summer and I don't know how they got all those bags back in the plane, but there were a lot of them. We feel strongly aligned with the Star Wars family, and the direction they're taking, and we'll find ways of continuing our collaboration with them." Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen was also there & said that he really likes the Star Wars line too.
Alors, oui c'est du commercial pur beurre (mais qui ne se battrait pas pour garder la license Star Wars ?), et oui il fait bon appartenir à la famille Lucas
