De nombreuses associations étaient présentes lors de cette Jedi-Con 2010. Les plus remarquables comme d’habitude furent la Rebel Legion et la 501 garnison Allemande, ainsi que Lightsaber Project qui nous présentait leurs diverses créations. L’association Joerilla présentait deux superbes dioramas LEGO, sans oublier les R2-D2 builders qui brillaient par leur superbes droïdes astromechanos qui ce pavanaient dans les allée du salon.
Et bien sûr, comme il y a deux ans, Mintinbox avait son stand sur le salon. Comme d’habitude l’ambiance, comme le public est au rendez-vous. Le Sandtrooper Attakus et les Kotobukiya sont toujours là, mais cette année nous exposons quelques nouvelle pièces qui on fait une forte impression : le prototype du buste de Dark Vador d’Attakus, ou encore Donald in Carbonite de Disney. Sans oublier la diffusion des reportages MIB et les proders « One hour for the planet » dont nous vous avions parlé sur MIB.
De plus Mintinbox accueillait sur son stand Guz Lopez et Duncan Jenkins, qui étaient venus dédicacer leur livre « Comprehensive guide to Star Wars Collectibles », ce fut l’occasion pour nous d’acheter ce superbe ouvrage.
Many associations were invited to the JediCon 2010 and the best one were for sure the Rebel Legion and the 501th Garrison. We noticed the Lightsaber Project with their wonderful creations, the Joerilla Association that presented two amazing LEGO dioramas and the R2-D2 builders with their fantastic droids. They really rocked the atmosphere !
Of course, Mintinbox was there like two years ago with a brand new booth. As usual, visitors were there. We displayed some interesting pieces such as the well known but rare Attakus Sandtrooper #2, some rare Kotobukiya collectibles but also new pieces visitors really liked. We had an Attakus Darth Vader mini-bust prototype and also Disney Donald in Carbonite. We brought with us a TV screen to show our previous video reports and we also displayed « One hour for the planet » collectibles we presented on MIB.
Moerover, we were pleased to welcome on our booth famous collectors and authors Gus Lopez and Duncan Jenkins. They went to sign their worlwide famous book « Comprehensive guide to Star Wars Collectibles », and it was also time for us to buy it.
