Les licenciés ont répondu présent lors Star Wars Celebration Europe II, mais peut être pas autant que nous l’espérions.
En effet Hasbro était bien présent avec un grand stand, l’occasion pour le fabricant quelques jours après le San Diego Comic Con de proposer en exclusivité le Boba Fett & Han Solo Carbonite The Black Series. Mais ce n’est pas tout puisque Hasbro présentait ses nouvelles figurines 3″3/4 de Dark Plagueis, Mace Windu et une Garde Nikto, et les figurines 6 pouces de Luke Skywalker ESB, le Stormtrooper, et Obi-Wan Kenobi ROTS.
La déception est venue du coté de LEGO qui ne présentait aucune nouveauté, et avait simplement déporté une partie du LEGO Store de ESSEN dans le centre de convention. On notera quand même les figurines publicitaires qui ont fait forte impression.
Les français étaient aussi bien représenté dans le salon avec la présence d’Attakus et le sculpteur Etienne Aillaud venu faire la promo de leur statue exclusive du Commander Cody Bronze Edition, mais aussi avec la présence d’Abystyle qui présentait ses différents produits Star Wars: tee-shirt, porte-clé, poster, mugs,… ainsi que de nombreux artworks dont plusieurs de Benjamin Carré.
Du coté de l’Official Store de Star Wars Celebration, ce dernier fut pris d’assaut dès l’ouverture de la convention par les nombreux fans qui voulaient rapporter un souvenir de la convention. Patchs, verres, tee-shirts, écharpes, poster, peluches… bref il y en avait pour tous les goûts et toutes les bourses.

Deception came from LEGO who showed no new Star Wars Set, and was simply a part of the ESSEN LEGO Store. Note still advertising figures made a strong impression.

The Official Store of Star Wars Celebration, it was attacked at the opening of the Convention by the many fans who wanted a memories of the show. Patches, glasses, t-shirts, scarves, post, plush there is something for all tastes and all budgets.
