"For years, fans from all over the world have been building up their collections of Star Wars memorabilia, putting them in nice displays and showing off those items that really make their collections unique and stand out from the rest. But did you ever wonder what is really out there? Keep reading to know all about it from our friend and fellow Sworian Steven Weimer!
In December, 2008 you "pffffffuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !" find out! You "pffffffuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit !" soon go to completistpublications.com to reserve your copy today! Price of this book is $64.99."
Very bad point...![]()

Pourtant : trop envie car une double page de Gus tous les 6 mois dans le Lucasmag et une actualisation trimestrielle de http://www.theswca.com ça ne satisfait pas mon insatiable curiosité !
Duncan Jenkins and I have spent the past five years writing the material for the first edition of our Star Wars collecting guide, and we're excited to finally see it in print and up for preorder to ship in January. Our objective was to make the guide that we would want, so held nothing back. Highlights include:
* Over 75,000 unique items
* 984 full-color pages
* 56 informative and snarky chapters covering a range of categories (if you take Star Wars memorabilia very seriously, you will not be fond of some of our commentary)
* Over 36,000 photos
* Extensive coverage of vintage, modern, licensed, bootleg, and international Star Wars collectibles... over 100 different countries
* From Australian dog food for Return of the Jedi to toilet paper from Germany for Revenge of the Sith, if they made a Star Wars product in the past 32 years, we cover it
* Turns out this is the largest Star Wars price guide ever assembled as it covers twice as much material as the next largest price guide
* Weighs 7 pounds (so don't sue us if you drop it on your foot!)
...and we modestly titled it "Gus and Duncan's Comprehensive Guide to Star Wars Collectibles"
gus a écrit :There are at least 36,000 photos (when we exceeded this amount we stopped counting) and just over 75,000 items listed, so just about 1 out of 2 items are pictured.
However, there are some major categories, namely Trading Cards, Stickers, and Games (i.e. CCG), where there are approximately 10,000 items in each chapter and some of the other price guides will list photo after photo of all of those (post-1997) repetitive items, beefing up the photo count. We don't do that. We only showed a selection of photos of different series of stickers, cards, and ccg to give an idea, so if you think about it, most of the really unique stuff is shown in the images because those 3 chapters account for maybe 25,000 items that are not photographed individually. So something like 70% of the items known to exist that anyone would actually care about are pictured in the book.
We list every known variation of every item. So different sizes of food packaging, different colors of Yoda ears caps, and paint variations in figures are all in play and listed. The only exception to this is that we do not consider different sizes of apparel items to be variations unless there is a significant difference in the cut, style, shape, or color.
